Nick Walczak’s J486 Blog

Hello, My name is Nick Walczak. I am a Broadcast, Print/Web Journalism major and a Marketing minor at UW-Whitewater.

I enjoy doing almost all (non-winter) outdoor activities. I love to hike, camp, and kayak. I recently have discovered a love for running. I always was involved in sports growing up, however mid to long distance running was never something I participated in, nor was I interested. I ran my first 5k on the treadmill this winter, and I was hooked. I cannot wait for the weather to get nice again so I can run with some scenery!

Nick W’s J486 Blog will be comprised mostly of articles that have to do with my journalism capstone project, which is the statewide nursing shortage. Other things that may be posted as well, will be assignments/activities completed for class.
