My name is Dane Sheehan, and I’m a student photojournalist from Madison, Wisconsin. I enjoy sharing others’ stories and experiences through photos and have been fascinated with photography since my sophomore year of high school. I specialize in sports photography and have had my work featured in publications, such as the the Royal Purple and Badger Herald, and by UW-Whitewater Athletics and the United Soccer Leauge (USL1). In 2016 I started an Instagram account called Danetography where I share my work with fellow photographers and friends. I have received a lot of positive feedback on my photos and have met many other active photographers and photojournalists while taking photos. Currently I am pursuing my interest in photojournalism and sports photography by studying Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and shooting a wide range of photos for the Royal Purple and the Athletics Department.
