This assignment type is included under the online assignment types so that instructors can select additional submission options for students unable to annotate onscreen.<\/li><li><strong><strong>New Quizzes &#8211; Save and Build Button Workflow:\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>The New Quiz creation page includes both a Save and a Build button. When an instructor creates and enters details for a quiz, the page displays both a Save and a Build button. Previously the page only included the Save button, which counterintuitively launched in the New Quiz editor.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UW-Whitewater Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Planned Data Center Outage, May 21: <\/strong>Due to a state-initiated project, a temporary power shut-off of the UW-W data center will be required to complete <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/2021\/05\/10\/planned-data-center-outage-may-21st\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">planned maintenance<\/a> at\u00a0<strong>6 p.m. on Friday, May 21<sup>st<\/sup><\/strong>, with a targeted return to full service by\u00a0<strong>8 a.m. on Saturday, May 22nd.\u00a0During this maintenance window, all IT services, applications, and web pages will be unavailable so please plan accordingly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns about the service pack updates, please&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uww.edu\/canvas\" target=\"_blank\">contact UW-W Canvas Support<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday, May 15, Instructure will deploy the latest release to the Canvas environment.\u00a0 The highlights of this release are listed below.\u00a0 The full\u00a0release notes\u00a0are also available.
