{"id":60764,"date":"2018-03-20T12:05:47","date_gmt":"2018-03-20T17:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/?p=60764"},"modified":"2018-03-21T12:00:03","modified_gmt":"2018-03-21T17:00:03","slug":"resolved-amazon-web-outage-impacting-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/2018\/03\/20\/resolved-amazon-web-outage-impacting-services\/","title":{"rendered":"[RESOLVED] Amazon Web Outage Impacting Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>RESOLVED:<\/strong>\u00a0Technicians have resolved the Amazon Web Services issue, and UW-Whitewater services should no longer be impacted.\u00a0 Any user encountering an issue should attempt to refresh the page, then notify <a href=\"http:\/\/d2l.uww.edu\/contact-d2l-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Desire2Learn Support<\/a> if the problem persists.<\/p>\n<p>A number of our cloud services are currently running in a degraded state due to an ongoing Amazon Web Services outage.\u00a0 The following services are currently impacted:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Respondus Lockdown Browser<\/strong>.\u00a0 The outage is preventing instructors from accessing the LockDown Browser dashboard, preventing students from downloading the installer for LockDown Browser and affecting Studymate.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>Respondus Monitor.<\/strong> Students are unable to use the Respondus Monitor feature to take quizzes.<\/p>\n<p>If we discover other services that are impacted by this outage, we will update this message.<\/p>\n<p>We will update this post as soon as the services have been restored.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RESOLVED:\u00a0Technicians have resolved the Amazon Web Services issue, and UW-Whitewater services should no longer be impacted.\u00a0 Any user encountering an issue should attempt to refresh the page, then notify Desire2Learn Support if the problem persists.
