D2L received a handful of new features, and fixed a slew of outstanding issues. \u00a0We are excited to share all of these with you.<\/p>\n<p>This post will highlight a few items we believe are the most impactful, but a more complete\u00a0\u201cWhat\u2019s New?\u201c document\u00a0is available here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/spaces.uww.edu\/x\/TwF5\">https:\/\/spaces.uww.edu\/x\/TwF5<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Functionality for Creating Group Discussions<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen creating a new Discussion Topic, there is now a &#8220;Topic Type&#8221; option. \u00a0This adds the ability to create a Group or Section topic that is available to everyone, but only allows students to see threads created by users in their same group or section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Updated Quiz Question Authoring Experience<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-60054 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2017\/09\/New-quiz-expereance.png\" alt=\"New quiz expereance\" width=\"431\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2017\/09\/New-quiz-expereance.png 937w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2017\/09\/New-quiz-expereance-300x233.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2017\/09\/New-quiz-expereance-386x300.png 386w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 431px) 100vw, 431px\" \/><\/strong><br \/>\nA visual redesign of the Quizzes tool to improve the usability of creating and editing Multiple Choice, True\/False, Short Answer, and Long Answer questions.
