Some teachers may require you to use LockDown browser\u00a0to take a quiz. If you log into D2L and click on the quiz you need to take and no start button appears, this means that you need to take the quiz in LockDown browser. The following message will also appear.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-58635 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/lockdown.jpg\" alt=\"lockdown\" width=\"423\" height=\"69\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/lockdown.jpg 423w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/lockdown-300x49.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 423px) 100vw, 423px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is a separate browser that does not allow you to open any tabs or other programs until you close the browser. This browser is downloaded to all the computers in the campus computer labs.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about LockDown browser and how to download it to your own computer please <a href=\"https:\/\/spaces.uww.edu\/pages\/viewpage.action?pageId=1409326\" target=\"_blank\">visit our wiki page about it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>To access\u00a0the quizzes page click on the &#8220;<strong>Quizzes&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0in the course navigation bar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-58591 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/quizzes1.png\" alt=\"quizzes\" width=\"265\" height=\"41\" \/>This will take you to the quiz page where you can see past, current and future quizzes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-58628 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/quiz-list2.jpg\" alt=\"quiz list\" width=\"600\" height=\"116\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/quiz-list2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/quiz-list2-300x58.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/quiz-list2-500x97.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some professors may leave their quizzes open to take whenever, but most have a specific date and time set for when you need to take the quiz. These dates are located underneath the quiz title.<\/p>\n<p>To the far right of the row you can\u00a0see how many &#8220;<strong>Attempts&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>you have to take the quiz. Some professors will allow you to take\u00a0multiple or unlimited attempts, but most will only give you one attempt.<\/p>\n<p>To begin taking a quiz, click on the blue link\u00a0of the quiz you need\u00a0like to take. You will then be taken to a new window that contains all of your questions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-58603 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all1.jpg\" alt=\"save all1\" width=\"600\" height=\"269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all1-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all1-500x224.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><strong>**<\/strong>Always make sure to save your answers after each question. There is a &#8220;<strong>Save<\/strong>&#8221; button after each question. In case their is some sort of computer problem (internet crashes, computer freezes, ect.) all of your questions that you have saved will remain intact!<\/p>\n<p>You can check if you have saved your answers by looking at the left side bar. All completed questions will have a blue floppy disk. If the symbol does not have any color that means your answer is unsaved.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-58632 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all11.png\" alt=\"save all1\" width=\"206\" height=\"157\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you are are finished with your quiz, I would recommend clicking the &#8220;<strong>Save All Responses<\/strong>&#8221; button at the bottom of the page, just in case an answer didn&#8217;t get saved along the way. Then click &#8220;<strong>Go to Submit Quiz<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-58599 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all-300x33.jpg\" alt=\"save all\" width=\"300\" height=\"33\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all-300x33.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2016\/02\/save-all.jpg 323w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next, a\u00a0Quiz Submission Confirmation will pop up. Click &#8220;<strong>Submit Quiz<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Another confirmation box will appear. If you need to make any last minute changes you have the chance to do so by clicking on the &#8220;<strong>No, don&#8217;t submit quiz<\/strong>&#8220;.
