{"id":58110,"date":"2015-02-05T09:33:31","date_gmt":"2015-02-05T15:33:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/?p=58110"},"modified":"2015-02-05T09:46:44","modified_gmt":"2015-02-05T15:46:44","slug":"desire2learn-service-update-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/2015\/02\/05\/desire2learn-service-update-25\/","title":{"rendered":"Desire2Learn Service Update (2\/5)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, February 5th, Desure2Learn deployed Service Pack 14 to our D2L Learning Environment.\u00a0 In this latest update, the following fixes and enhancements were included:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Classlist<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: Checklists that contain empty categories now correctly display all items to users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ePortfolio<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: Users can now successfully add tags to files and links they share through ePortfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HTML Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: Flicker integration now supports new Flickr API SSL endpoint.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Import\/Copy Course<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: When using copy course components, the sort order of grade items and categories is preserved in the new course.<\/li>\n<li>Fix: When Kaltura videos are embedded into News items (and other areas), replace strings are used to avoid hard-coded course identifies.\u00a0 Items containing Kaltura videos can be successfully copied to other courses.<\/li>\n<li>Fix: Dropbox start, end, and due dates are now copied successfully during the Copy Course Components process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>My Courses<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enhancement: The My Courses widget has been updated to allow for increased performance and filtering.\u00a0 The role based style tabs has been replaced with a dropdown filters.\u00a0 Additional information available at: <strong><a title=\"Desire2Learn \u201cMy Courses\u201d Widget Update\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/2015\/02\/05\/desire2learn-my-courses-widget-update\/\" target=\"_blank\">Desire2Learn \u201cMy Courses\u201d Widget Update<\/a>.<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quizzes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: The user experience of taking a quiz through the Content user interface now offers the same access to submission view and reports that it is available in the Quizzes tool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is also a known issue that can impact group restricted discussion forums.\u00a0 More information on that is located at: <a title=\"D2L Known Issue: \u201cInternal Error\u201d when accessing the \u201cGroups\u201d tool\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/2015\/01\/22\/d2l-known-issue-internal-error-when-accessing-the-groups-tool\/\">D2L Known Issue: \u201cInternal Error\u201d when accessing the \u201cGroups\u201d tool<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns about the service pack updates, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uww.edu\/desire2learn\/contact-d2l-support\" target=\"_blank\">contact UW-W D2L Support<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, February 5th, Desure2Learn deployed Service Pack 14 to our D2L Learning Environment.\u00a0 In this latest update, the following fixes and enhancements were included: Classlist Fix: Checklists that contain empty categories now correctly display all items to users. ePortfolio &hellip;
