{"id":57827,"date":"2014-07-15T09:30:22","date_gmt":"2014-07-15T14:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/?p=57827"},"modified":"2014-07-28T08:39:42","modified_gmt":"2014-07-28T13:39:42","slug":"turnitin-service-outage-726","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/2014\/07\/15\/turnitin-service-outage-726\/","title":{"rendered":"Turnitin Service Outage (7\/26)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Turnitin services, including Originality Check, Peermark, and Grademark, will be unavailable during a scheduled maintenance period on <strong>Saturday, July 26th, 2014, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (CT)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">During this outage window, students should not submit files to a Dropbox folder that has Turnitin enabled, and instructors should not create new Dropbox folders with Turnitin enabled.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Instructors are encouraged to modify assignment due dates either before or at least several hours after the scheduled maintenance window. If possible, it&#8217;s also advised that instructors change the end date on all Dropbox folders that are utilizing Turnitin so that students won&#8217;t inadvertently submit during the outage window.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, any Dropbox folders in a D2L course that are currently <strong>NOT<\/strong> utilizing the Turnitin Originality Check, ending before the outage window, or starting after the outage window do <strong>NOT<\/strong> have to be altered.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns about this outage, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uww.edu\/desire2learn\/contact-d2l-support\" target=\"_blank\">contact UW-W D2L Support<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Turnitin services, including Originality Check, Peermark, and Grademark, will be unavailable during a scheduled maintenance period on Saturday, July 26th, 2014, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (CT).
