First, to access your calendar, go to the D2L homepage.<\/p>\n<p>There is a \u2018Tools\u2019 button on the course navigation bar on the far right side underneath your name.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57595\" alt=\"tools\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture.png\" width=\"160\" height=\"165\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you click on it a drop down menu will appear, click on the \u2018Calender\u2019 link.<\/p>\n<p>This will take you to the calendar homepage. \u00a0Here you can see what you have due in each of your classes within the month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57596\" alt=\"caldender\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture1.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture1.png 600w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture1-300x212.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture1-424x300.png 424w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anything that your professor has chosen to give an opening or closing date to will appear on the calendar and any changes that he or she makes will be automatically updated on your own calendar. This is convenient because you don\u2019t have to worry or waste time going in and making manual changes when your instructor messes with the syllabus.<\/p>\n<p>You can switch to different views of your upcoming events by clicking on the different options at the top; Agenda, Day, Week, Month, and List.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57597\" alt=\"calender view\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture2.png\" width=\"352\" height=\"52\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture2.png 352w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture2-300x44.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 352px) 100vw, 352px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My personal favorite view is the Month view because I can see what weeks will be busier than others and plan my course of action ahead of time.<\/p>\n<p>Your calendar could potentially contain content from every class that you are currently enrolled in as well as other things like ongoing jobs and general Whitewater content.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57598\" alt=\"class list\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture3.png\" width=\"334\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture3.png 334w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture3-260x300.png 260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 334px) 100vw, 334px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You could manage what you see on the calendar by going to \u2018All Calendars\u2019. There it shows all the calendars that you are subscribed to. You can add and remove any calendar that you want. This means you can add on your work times or club activities if you wanted.\u00a0 The display colors are also fully customizable if such things matter to you like they do to me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57599\" alt=\"task bar\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2014\/03\/Capture4.png\" width=\"294\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last and maybe most important aspect of the calender, is the fact that you can add your own tasks and reminders to it. You can do that by typing them in the bar on the right hand side of the page.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s all I have for now!
