{"id":56888,"date":"2013-06-27T12:16:45","date_gmt":"2013-06-27T17:16:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/?p=56888"},"modified":"2013-06-27T12:16:45","modified_gmt":"2013-06-27T17:16:45","slug":"desire2learn-service-update-627","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/2013\/06\/27\/desire2learn-service-update-627\/","title":{"rendered":"Desire2Learn Service Update (6\/27)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2011\/12\/d2l_logo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-604\" title=\"D2L Logo\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/instructional\/files\/2011\/12\/d2l_logo.png\" alt=\"Desire2Learn logo\" width=\"212\" height=\"43\" \/><\/a>This morning, Thursday, June 27th, Desire2Learn Inc. deployed Service Pack 11 to our D2L learning environment.<\/p>\n<p>Included fixes to tools in this service pack are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quizzes<\/strong>: If a quiz&#8217;s Submission View is restricted to only be viewed by users who achieve a score between 0-100%, users who achieve 100% can now also access the Submission View correctly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calendar<\/strong>: Application changes were made to improve the performance of the Calendar tool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grades<\/strong>: If students have names that contain apostrophes (&#8216;), it is now possible to correctly access their quiz attempts and dropbox folder submissions from grade book in Grades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discussions<\/strong>: New topics are no longer created in the wrong forum when users create group-restricted discussion topics from &#8220;Group Restrictions&#8221; in Discussions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dropbox<\/strong>: A performance improvement was made to reduce database I\/O consumption when generating Notifications for &#8220;Dropbox &#8211; dropbox folder due date or end date is 2 days away&#8221; and &#8220;Quizzes &#8211; quiz end date is 2 days away&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content Browser<\/strong>: Titles and icons in the Content Browser widget are now restored to their original layout and no longer have alignment issues.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns about this service pack and the tools updates, please contact <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uww.edu\/desire2learn\/contact-d2l-support\" target=\"_blank\">UW-W D2L Support<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning, Thursday, June 27th, Desire2Learn Inc. deployed Service Pack 11 to our D2L learning environment.
