This meme is built on the framework of a newer, but becoming more and more common phenomenon of anti-vaccination.<\/p>\n

The above text describes the difference of what two decades does to the phrase “Teens sneaking out to get shots”. Below it, are two images. One has the year 1999 above it featuring a lot of tequila shots. This is because, back in 1999 anti-vaccination was not popularized by social media and did not have as large a following. So sneaking out for shots meant getting drunk with friends.<\/p>\n

The next image features a needle drawing liquid from a medical container for a vaccination. There have been multiple stories released by credible journalists about children sneaking away from their anti-vaccination parent(s) to get all the medicine they’ve been deprived of as a child.<\/p>\n
