This park is right on the Illinois River and features\u00a0a ton of hiking that all lead to some amazing views! The whole area is pretty much a huge attraction, they have trolley rides, rooms for weddings and a hotel that you can stay at.<\/div>\n<div class=\"_iPk\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/frequenthiker\/files\/2017\/04\/DSC_4343-11-227x187.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-220 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/frequenthiker\/files\/2017\/04\/DSC_4343-11-227x187.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_4343-11-227x187\" width=\"227\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/frequenthiker\/files\/2017\/04\/Autumn-Photo-Opp-IL-River-227x187.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-221 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/frequenthiker\/files\/2017\/04\/Autumn-Photo-Opp-IL-River-227x187.jpg\" alt=\"Autumn-Photo-Opp-IL-River-227x187\" width=\"227\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From Whitewater this is about a 2 hour drive, but it is definitely worth the drive! The main thing people go to see is in the picture on the bottom,\u00a0which is actually the view from the top of Starved Rock but they also go to see the waterfalls like the top.
