A SWOT analysis is a tool that many company’s and people use to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, helping organizations understand both internal performance and external factors. In social media research, it plays a key role in shaping effective strategies, much like how a sports team prepares for competition. For example, a team’s strength might be a star athlete with a large online following, a weakness could be low engagement during the off season, opportunities may include viral highlights or behind the scenes content, and threats could come from rival teams capturing fan attention with more creative posts.
