WEEK 6 EDITON

Covid, Covid, Covid! That was the big headliner along within Dak Prescott’s unfortunate injury in week 5. Hopefully all the games will be played this week and without a delay. Also, no more serous injuries you hate to see anything like that happen. Here is the week 6 edition of start em or sit em.

Quarterbacks

Start Em

Matt Ryan ATL vs @MIN

Matt has not been doing great the last three games averaging only 10.25 points a game. He also didn’t have a touchdown pass in the previous two. The Last time he did, that was his rookie year in 2008, a decade ago. He is inbound for a huge comeback this week facing a Minnesota defense that still has not shown a good show. He is now not a matchup-proof quarterback like he was, but this week he is a solid QB 1.

Sit Em

Tom Brady TB vs GB

Brady did okay against the bears, but that mental mistake cost them the win. Usually, I would like a matchup like this against a soft passing defense like Green Bay, but the passing protection is not there. Brady will be rushed almost all game as the packers have 12 sacks in four games. Brady has been sacked eight times already, and I expect him to add four more to that total after Sunday.

Runningbacks

Start Em

Jonathan Taylor IND vs CIN

I like Taylor this week as he sees a reliable workload and a decent 4 yard per carry average. Also, he is going up against one of the worst rush defenses in the league in the Bengals, giving up 5.3 yards per carry that are the third-most in the league. It looks like a big day for Taylor this weekend.

Sit Em

James White NE vs DEN

White had a respectable performance in week five, but he will be a nonfactor in week 6. Patriots are home favorites by a wide margin against the Denver Broncos. This means they will run the ball more than passing, leading Harris to take on most of the NE backfield work. White is a deep flex play at best.

Wide Receivers

Start Em

Amari Cooper DAL vs ARI

Even with star quarterback Prescott out, I still like Cooper in any matchup. That has to do with the back up the red rifle Andy Dalton. I believe dalton can still throw, and the Dallas offense will not shy away from the throwing game. Dalton should lean on Cooper and the tight end Schultz this game leading to a lot of work for Cooper.

Sit Em

Robert Woods LAR vs @SF

Woods sees work, but I believe Goff has a better relationship with Kupp. Leading to Woods not seeing much work even with a favorable matchup against San Fran. He is a very much touchdown or bust kind of player and is a risky play most weeks, and this week is no different. He is a WR 3 at best this week.

Tight Ends

Start Em

Dalton Schultz DAL vs ARI

Schultz, just like Cooper, will be leaned on by dalton this week as the backup QB gets back into the NFL groove. Andy also has a favorable liking to tight ends, and that certainly will not go away this week. He is a TE one this week.

Sit Em

Rob Gronkowski TB vs GB

Gronk is a former shell of himself, only breaking the ten-point barrier one time. He does not look good anymore, and his workload has been spotty so far. I would not play him until he proves himself that he can put on games as he used to in the past.

Defense

Start Em

Steelers PIT vs CLE

The Steelers have 20 sacks so far in four games! They also have at least one pick every game in the season. They are playing against Cleveland, where Bakar Mayfield still has not looked that great, getting sacked seven times and four picks so far in the 2020 campaign. Mayfield does not do well under pressure, which this defense brings, and with the pass protection, It’s going to be a long day for Cleveland. Steelers are a safe pick this week.

Sit Em

Buccaneers TB vs GB

Tampa Bay has been solid this year, but there is no way to stop Rodgers and company right now. They are averaging 38 points a game, and it’s not just the pass game that’s hot. The running game, too, with 5.8 yards per carry. Tampa Bay has too much to deal with and will lack in one of these areas. It does not help that Adams is coming back well-rested.

Covid, Covid, Covid!
