    Goodbye, See Ya Around

This has been an interesting assignment for me. I was tasked with creating a blog and posting weekly content on a subject I enjoy. I had fun sharing information with everyone and helping sum up long amounts of repetitive information. I enjoyed writing this blog very much and it helped my love for Elder Scrolls Online grow even stronger. This game, personally, has the highest potential of any MMO I have ever scene. There is so much that can be done with this game and its world. I can’t wait to see what the future has to hold. In the meantime enjoy Elsweyr and the culture of the Khajiit. I…

    Pushing The Khajiit Hard!

ESO has been pushing their new Elsweyr chapter expansion hard in both the physical sense and the promotional sense. 95 percent of their posts have been revolving around the expansion for the past three months. This is fair as their main source of income is from cosmetic purchases and in game expansion costs, the base game is free to play with a one time only payment of buying the game. And the hype train is reaching maximum velocity. ESO recently posted an article talking about the Khajiit in Elsweyr and what you can expect from the natives of Elsweyr. I posted a bit of Khajiit lore awhile back that covered…

    Elsweyr PTS is Live!

Yo it’s live! The PTS, Public Test Server, is now up and running with the new Elsweyr expansion! The public test server also is running Update 22 game update and patch. Only PC/MAC players can access the PTS. “If you’ve tested the game previously, either for the Morrowind or Summerset Chapter, you can get into this new test from the ESO launcher with no invite required. Just enable “Show Public Test Environment” from your launcher settings. If you haven’t tested a Chapter for us before, but have played ESO this last year, you’ll receive (or have already received!) an email invite with the details. Because this is such a large test, invites will be sent out…

    Not Much This Week

Well, not much has been announced this week do to the currently running Anniversary event. In absence of new coverage, I’d like to talk a bit about my competitive history in ESO. I’m gonna say this upfront. I’M NOT GOOD AT COMPETITIVE ESO! But that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it. ESO has some of the best competitive modes I’ve seen in a MMO RPG. Its PvP is some of the most fun I’ve had with my friends over the past five years. Here’s a video showing some old footage I’d captured of the PvP in Cyrodiil. Fair warning before you watch the video. This footage was captured back when…

    Goodies Galore! Happy Anniversary ESO!

Three major things have happened since the last post, April Fools, new crates, and a new event coming! First off, on the day I last posted, we got a good Aprils Fools post from the ESO team on the main site. They advertised wearable outfits for your cat IRL, only for 100 gold! Sadly “1oo gold” translates to $100,000 USD. So they got a lot of people good with that post. If I was a huge cat person I would love this legitimately. But cats don’t usually like things hanging off of them, so attempt to recreate these at your own risk. https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/55993 Next up we have new Crown Crate goodies.…

    They Are Here…

I’m back from break, and there was a lot I missed during my time away. First thing to cover is the 25th anniversary of the Elder Scrolls series. The series has been going strong since 1994, in an age where game companies are constantly being bought out or going under, this is a huge achievement. Congrats to Elder Scrolls and the Elder Scrolls teams, keep up the awesome work.  Ok, second on the chopping block is the beginning of the second part of the Season of the Dragon. It’s time to unleash the dragons. I only just recently played the Elsweyr free prologue, I still have many other profiles to…

    Elsweyr Open IRL Testing!

Today we have two bits of information, one small bit of info, and one big bit of info. First up we have awesome hand made gear of the Dragonbone armor style. The level of detail on this handmade armor set is amazing. It looks straight out of the Elder Scrolls games themselves. The set was made by “Lightning Cosplay.”  Lightning Cosplay have made numerous ESO cosplay in the past. They’ve also made several other breathe taking cosplay from other triple A game titles, such as Darksiders, The Witcher, Diablo, World Of Warcraft, etc. They also have a YouTube channel you can check out linked on their site. This cosplay set will be…

    Some Little News

Since its the beginning of the week, not much new info has been announced since the last post. I’ll go over what has been announced this past weekend, and throw in some other info that might catch your interest. First off “ESO Live” will be streaming March 15th, this friday, at 6PM EDT. Senior Systems Designer Michael Edwards and Lead UI Designer Bobby Weir will be on the stream to talk more in depth about the recent quality of life changes introduced in Update 21. And our new Lore Master has finally been announced. Lore Master Leamon Tuttle will make his first appearance and explain his qualifications and background. He’ll also tell us…

    Events!

ESO, like many other MMO’s, has limited time events which players can take advantage of already existing content. During these events certain expansions and items go on sale for extremely cheap prices. Most of these event run times are based off of real world holiday seasons or anniversaries of previously added expansions. As stated in my last post, the upcoming event is known as the “Jester’s Festival,” which is ESO’s equivalent to April Fools. The currently running event is the “Thieves Guild & Dark Brotherhood Celebration.” “The Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood Celebration Event starts Thursday, March 7, at 10:00AM EST and runs until Monday, March 18, at 10:00AM EDT.” During this event players…
