When I think of a journalist, I think of someone who is a messenger of the real world. Someone who brings stories and news to people who wouldn’t know about it without them. Although journalism is changing all the time whether it is through newspapers, magazines, online, or on TV someone still has to bring the information to the public. Anyone can be a journalist, many people have their own blogs or websites where they write about topics they are interested in. Some people write about politics, food, sports, or anything else in the world. A journalist is someone you get information from. In the world we live in now everyone is online, and everyone has some form of internet access which leads to being on blogs or social media platforms where they have access to these stories. The 24/7 news cycle speaks to this, with people being on their phones or computers all the time, journalists have to report or post stories all the time no matter what time of day because someone will see them.
