My name is David Smith and this blog is a clear reflection on my upbringing. I was raised by parents who were big Chicago sports teams fans, and I remember as a child going to my first Cubs/Brewers game and watching them go crazy every time a call didn’t go in favor of the Cubs. Just prior to that game; however, my parents had left the Chicago suburbs behind and moved to the rural area of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. I grew up loving the Bucks, Brewers & Packers even though my parents desperately tried to get me to support Chicago teams.
