<\/figure>CHWC – Catholic Heart Work Camp<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I have volunteered every summer for the past 9 years at CHWC. I’ve worked on projects that ranged from building a deck, landscaping, food pantries, painting and more. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n Being a member of different choirs and bands, I have learned the importance of team work, all working together toward the best possible performance. All involved bring their own talents and ideas to the group but need each other to succeed. I have learned how to be a team player, one who supports, challenges and encourages people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n – Singing the National Anthem with the Midnight Men at the Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n Annual cancer walk fundraiser volunteering in the survivor area. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n Singing the National Anthem at a local Cancer Run to raise money for cancer research!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n Supporting the Milwaukee’s St. Patty’s Day Parade by being a Leprechaun on one of the floats!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Volunteering has always been a passion of mine.
