If you’re going to Chicago and looking for something amazing to eat, think DEEP DISH PIZZA. The best kind of pizza you can get downtown is Loumalnati’s. Loumalnati’s was founded on March 17th, 1971 by Rudy Malnati’s son, Lou Malnati. Lou worked at Chicago’s first deep dish pizzeria, and then soon decided he wanted to take deep dish to the next level and open up his own shop, where him and his wife started their company. They do more than make pizza, they participate and volunteer within their community as well as raising over $4 million for cancer research. Become part of Lou’s family and try this mouthwatering, cheesy, fresh tomato sauced goodness.

Sounds great! Must be a thriving business if they were able to raise that much money for cancer research! I’ll have to check this out next time I’m in Chicago.

Eating the pizza is my favorite thing about going to Chicago! I’ve tried both Lou Malnati’s and Giordanos’s. I’ve found that I like Lou Malnati’s sauce better but I like Giordano’s crust better. It’s a very intense rivalry!
