SUMMARY:Universal Design for Learning: Intro to the Basics
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nUniversal Design for Learning (UDL) is a research-ba
 cked educational framework that has been integrated in classrooms in the U
 S and abroad for over 30 years. UDL promotes learner agency and flexibilit
 y in how learners access and engage with course materials. In this worksho
 p\, we will go into further detail about what UDL is\, discuss the three p
 rinciples (Engagement\, Representation\, Action and Expression)\, and how 
 instructors can incorporate UDL in their classrooms starting with a ‘plu
 s one’ approach.\n\nBy attending the workshop\, participants will be abl
 e to:\n\n 	Describe Universal Design for Learning\n 	Locate UDL Guidelines
  on CAST’s website\n 	Identify ways to apply UDL in their course\n\nPart
