SUMMARY:AI Misuse: Detection and Prevention
DESCRIPTION:Register Here!\n\nThis intermediate-level workshop invites educ
 ators and administrators to examine the intersection of artificial intelli
 gence (AI) technology and academic integrity\, with a specific focus on de
 tecting AI-generated text. Participants will receive practical\, hands-on 
 training in using the AI detection tools currently available on campus. Th
 rough direct engagement with these tools\, attendees will critically evalu
 ate their accuracy\, limitations\, and potential applications within acade
 mic environments. In addition\, real-world scenarios and case studies will
  illustrate how AI detection tools can be effectively integrated into inst
 itutional policies and practices to maintain the highest standards of acad
 emic integrity.\n\nSession Outcomes\n\n 	Evaluate the accuracy\, limitatio
 ns\, and potential applications of AI detection tools\n 	Explore the ethic
 al considerations associated with AI detection in educational settings\n 	
 Develop strategies to decrease incidence of AI misuse\n 	Build ethical AI 
 use into academic policies and practices\n\nBy the conclusion of this work
 shop\, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of how to leve
 rage AI detection tools responsibly\, as well as insight into the ethical 
 and policy-related challenges posed by emerging AI technologies.
