DESCRIPTION:Register Here!\nLearn how to create lecture slides and videos t
 hat are accessible to all of your students. The session will focus on seve
 ral key areas\, including layout\, navigation\, font style\, color\, alt t
 ext\, descriptive text\, multimedia\, recording higher-quality video and a
 udio\, and university resources. Participants will interact with a live de
 monstration of how to use various tools to make their slides more accessib
 le and understand how a variety of students perceive their slides. The wor
 kshop will end with an open lab\, where participants can edit or adapt the
 ir slides with the help of CATLST experts. The hosts will also demonstrate
  how to use Kaltura captioning services to help instructors improve the qu
 ality of their videos and make them more accessible.\nSession Outcomes\n 
 After completing this workshop\, participants will be able to:\n\n 	Implem
 ent accessible design principles in slide presentations to enhance readabi
 lity and comprehension for all students.\n 	Evaluate existing presentation
  slides using accessibility-checking tools and guidelines to identify pote
 ntial barriers and areas for improvement in lecture slides.\n 	Implement a
 ccessibility best practices when producing video lectures to enhance compr
 ehension for all students.\n 	Generate accurate closed captions using Kalt
 ura captioning services and edit captions to ensure proper spelling\, punc
 tuation\, and synchronization with video content.\n\nParticipants are enco
 uraged to bring in their laptops or tablets.
