DESCRIPTION:Register Here!\n\nLearn how to integrate accessible equations\,
  charts\, tables\, and graphs into your course materials\, including docum
 ents\, lecture slides\, and Canvas pages. Session topics include writing e
 quations with LaTeX in Canvas\, designing perceivable charts\, tables\, an
 d graphs\, and writing alt text and image descriptions for complex images.
  Beginning with the basics of designing perceivable data\, the workshop wi
 ll conclude with an optional open lab where participants can work on their
  courses with CATLST experts.\nSession Outcomes\nAfter completing this wor
 kshop\, participants will be able to:\n\n 	Create perceivable charts\, tab
 les\, and graphs by using accessible formatting\, labels\, and structures.
 \n 	Write effective alt text and descriptions for complex images\, includi
 ng data visualizations.\n 	Evaluate existing course materials (documents\,
  lecture slides\, and Canvas pages) for accessibility barriers related to 
 data representation.\n 	Identify features in Canvas that support the displ
 ay of accessible equations using LaTeX.\n\nParticipants are encouraged to 
 bring in their laptops or tablets.\n\nThis session will be held in McGraw 
 19a and virtually via Webex:
