Highlights from the Digital Accessibility Community of Practice

As UW-Whitewater prepares for new digital accessibility guidelines taking effect on April 26, 2026, instructors are encouraged to start making their course materials more accessible now. The most recent Digital Accessibility Community of Practice meeting brought together a panel of campus experts to share insights, tools, and resources to help faculty get ready.

The panel, featuring representatives from CATLST, the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD), and Andersen Library, focused on practical steps instructors can take to ensure their courses meet accessibility standards and create an inclusive learning environment for all students.

Watch or listen to the full recording to hear from our panel of experts and gain confidence to make your courses more accessible before 2026!
