Online Journalism

The first thing that comes to mind as to why online Journalism is “better” is because it reaches a bigger audience. Everyone has access to the internet across the country so more people are likely to see it compared to a traditional newspaper or something. Another reason is that it is always current and can be updated as stories continue to develop, whereas in print journalism this can’t happen as fast. Another reason is for breaking news. When news breaks and events unfold, they can be published immediately, which is not possible on print. Also audio and video can be included online to help the viewer get a better understanding and eye into the story.
