Three Words: Dollar Shave Club<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, I know what you are thinking, “I’m a girl, why would I join monthly subscription for men’s razors?”<\/p>\n

Because YOU are about to save BIG bucks by switching to a blue razor instead of a pink one and I am going to tell you how.<\/p>\n

How I got hooked<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here I am, minding my own business, when I came across an ad on Facebook (modern technology is nuts) and it was for Dollar Shave Club. Now I always heard about but never really had an interest, until this ad. I am a public relations major with a minor in advertising so I should know better than to fall for an advertisement designed to target me and get me to buy their product. But, I did fall for it. The ad told me I could get a six blade razor with four interchangable blades every month for $9. Let me repeat that $9. For those of you who don’t know women’s blades for like two of them cost about $12. That is insane to me. That’s how I got hooked. I ordered my first month.<\/p>\n

My first reaction<\/strong><\/p>\n

I ordered the most expensive razor with the most amount of blades. I picked the bundle called “The Classic Shave Starter Set.” It cost me a total of $5 and came with the razor, a nice shave cream called “shave butter,” and four replaceable blades. After my first month, then I would start getting charged $9 every month I decided to keep it. I can also “pause” my plan for a month if I choose to as well with no added charges or fees. I was so excited about my new find,\u00a0 I was ready to try it out. I thought for this bundle this is a really good price.<\/p>\n

Is it worth the money?<\/strong><\/p>\n

YES! I have not cancelled the membership because to be honest I am saving a ton of money to have a blue razor. In all honesty, I am disappointed I did not try this sooner. The razor itself is great. I have no had an issues with the razor at all. Easy to clean and use. It also gets a nice close shave. So ladies, start saving $$$ and make your switch!<\/p>\n
