Song of the Month: Masterpiece

I like to listen to music while I do my studies- and I’ve been doing a whole lotta studies (hence the lack of blog posts). Excuses aside, I usually listen to instrumental music- hearing people talk while I work overloads my miniscule brain. Asy Saavedra is perfect for this- lots of great bangers, with some stemming from video games. Honestly, I’d love to make music that sounds like hers. Asy’s music is typically cheery and poppy, with Masterpiece is no different.
However, Asy sings in Masterpiece. When I was doing my homework, instead of jerking my head back in disgust of vocals in my study time, I listened. To not my surprise, it was beautiful. I added it to my playlist.
This semester, I bit off a bit more than I can chew, which is nothing new, unfortunately. Don’t get me wrong- I love being busy, but with that, I cannot accomplish everything that I’d like to. I’m honestly surprised that I haven’t gotten tired of Asy yet from doing homework, but hey, I guess a banger is a banger.
