SUPER AWESOME UPDATED WEBSITE: ZCLIPSEDEV.COM

zclipsedev.com

Welcome to my blog!

I’m sure you have a million questions.

“Who is Brian Michael?”
“Why does he have a blog?”
“Who would ever read this blog?”

Those are some very good questions!

I’m Brian Michael. I’m a student at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, majoring in Media Arts and Game Development and minoring in Computer Science. My favorite game series of all time is Call of Duty Zombies. Specifically zombies. I love indie music, and I’ve been trying to learn how to make music as well. Whenever I’m not talking to someone, you can bet I have my Airpods in.

For some reason, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater kind of just hands out blogs to students, so my thought process was just “why not?” The official Brian Michael blog was created on August 22, 2024. Originally, I was going to use a more modern theme, but I think this is funnier. The purpose of this blog is to provide my valued thoughts on the most important areas in life: game development, gaming, and music. Anything else that doesn’t fit in those categories goes into “life.”

Now, who is this blog for? Me. I kind of see it as a public journal. Well, I guess it’s more like waving a billboard in space. No one is going to see it, but if someone for some reason decided to explore a little, they could find it.

Thanks for stopping by. If you’re still bored, feel free to check out some of my posts.

Hello fellow chefs! Recently, my buddy Ian and I were thoroughly ridiculed for purchasing TV dinners. As very busy college students, student organization executive board members, and employees at our respective establishments, time is a very valuable resource. Why spend time cooking when I can instead spend it staring at the same line of code…

  • I Finally Started Something

I’ve been in a bit of a game developer’s block. I think that I’m only permitted one very good idea per year, and I already used up this year’s for my Software Engineering class (more on that later (maybe)). However, I really needed a very good idea- and fast. Last year, I presented my hit…

  • Song of the Month: Masterpiece

I like to listen to music while I do my studies- and I’ve been doing a whole lotta studies (hence the lack of blog posts). Excuses aside, I usually listen to instrumental music- hearing people talk while I work overloads my miniscule brain. Asy Saavedra is perfect for this- lots of great bangers, with some…
