Jesús Alexander Aguilar is a Venezuelan professional baseball first baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers. He made his MLB debut in 2014 with the Cleveland Indians only playing in 36 total games over a three-year span.
Former amateur free-agent, now fighting for an everyday position got his chance last week. Playing in 7 games with 16 Ab, Aguilar is hitting .438 and leading the team batting average. Getting on base 8 times and scoring twice, he also drove in 2 runs.
Not only did the first basemen hit the ball well, he fielded it better. Leading the charge in two inning-ending double plays his defense of presence will be a big factor for the brewers as he continues to grow as a big leaguer.
