Kylie lip kits are all the rage right now. At $29 for a liquid lipstick and a lip liner, you may be wondering why all these girls are throwing their money away for a lip color. I can tell you, they are amazing… The Kylie lip kits work better than your average cheap-o drugstore liquid lipstick. Plus the liners are formulated to match the lipstick perfectly.

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding ColorPop and Kylie Cosmetics being the same products with different packaging but I can tell you from my own experience that isn’t accurate. Kylie lip kits last much longer than my colorpop liquid lipstick, and colorpop doesn’t have perfect match lip liners, which I consider to be a huge downside. Both are very pigmented and Colorpop does have way more shades than Kylie. But as for quality Kylie takes the cake. Did I mention Kylie’s Lip Kits smell like cake? Not that this is too important but it’s definitely a nice touch.

I personally have Posie K and it’s my go to lip color, I also bought Okurr off mercari-which is a shopping app (because I didn’t want Khloe’s whole collection) If I love these lips kits so much, why don’t I have more? Because $$$.

Yes these are quality lip kits, but if you’re on a budget… it’s not practical for you to own every shade. My suggestion? find 1, 2 even 3 that you love and use them when you’re in need of long wear or if there’s a special occasion where you really wanna flaunt that shade. But if you’re just going out for a couple of hours, Colorpop would do the trick for you.
