Brewers Tie Franchise Record in Game 1 Against the Cubs

The Brewers tied there franchise record of 5 home runs in a game against the Cubs on Friday night. This is the 17th time in franchise history that the crew have hit 5 home runs in a game.

Braun and Thames both helped the crew by hitting 3 run home runs, along with Grandal, Arcia and Perez helping the Brewers improve to 7-1 to start the season. However, the Cubs answered with a couple of their own making it a close contest with the final score of 13-10. With that loss for the Cubs their record sits at 1-6 which is definitely not where they want to be to start the season. Early in the season this is a good sign for the Brewers that their offense is clicking so well, with our pitching going to be the main issue this year, we wont have to worry too much if we just end up out hitting every team they face.
