Yelich Starts Out Regular Season Series Right Where He Left Off

The Milwaukee Brewers opened the regular season against the St. Louis Cardinals where the Brewers ended up taking 3 out of 4 games no thanks to Christian Yelich.

In his first series of the regular season he went 6-12 batting .500, with 4 home runs, 6 walks, 6 runs and 8 RBIs. This is a good sign for Brewers fans that shows that hopefully last year wasn’t just a one and done performance year for the man. If the season ended after these first 4 games Yelich would no doubt be back to back MVP, however that is not the case and their are still 157 more games to play. With that being said, we will have to patiently watch and wait as the regular season continues to see how Yelich continues to play this season and whether or not he can really be back to back MVP. In other good news the Cubs have started their season at 1-3 which as a Brewers fan, you love to see them losing especially when most of the analysts had them up at top of the division in their projections which I have a hard time agreeing with, but again we will have to see.
