He had great reasons and examples on what he believed about journalism and the impacts it has on him and the country allowing the First Amendment to shine.<\/p>\n<p>Pelley, spoke a little bit on the beginning of journalism and how it came to what we know today as journalism.\u00a0Pelley explained his meaning to\u00a0be that the media is criticized always and told how they should perform their jobs by people that are not even in the media. He described the importance of ethics and values in the media. He said that knowing ethics and values in journalism is more important than &#8220;fast journalism&#8221;. It is good to know what we are talking about in detail and not just reporting when you know nothing or not everything about what you are reporting. Like Pelley said &#8220;I was dead wrong.&#8221; He also mentioned that &#8221;\u00a0If you\u2019re first, no one will remember. If you\u2019re wrong, no one will ever forget.&#8221; Pelley has also mentioned that like never before had good and bad information been available to people.
