Professors \naren\u2019t going to take you seriously&nbsp;If the email has multiple spelling \nand grammar errors. errors are not for people in college. When emailing \nsomeone who is higher up, you want to make sure what you\u2019re saying makes\n sense. If your email is full of nonsense most likely they won&#8217;t even \npay attention to it because they have more better things to do.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overtime\n I really tried to perfect my skills of emailing a professor and making \nsure I know how to write a correct email that&#8217;s proper and formal.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some tips on how to write a good email that will be successful.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-pale-pink-color\"><strong>&#8211; Proofreading\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\n needs to be done after the whole email is done. I would read it out \nloud to yourself because it\u2019s easier to find mistakes. I would also \nrecommend having someone else read it since it\u2019s easier to have someone \nelse to find things.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-pale-pink-color\"><strong>-Check the Tone\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having\n a certain tone in the email can set the outcome. If you are upset or \nconfused, try not to be rude or concerning about it. Talking online is \ndifferent compared to in person so someone might take your tone the \nwrong way. I would try to make it as calm as you could make it. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-pale-pink-color\"><strong>-Good Use of Subject Lines\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\n Is the hint to tell the person reading the email what it\u2019s about. You \nneed to make sure it\u2019s short but able to show the main message of \nthought. If it seems to not be important, some may ignore it. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-pale-pink-color\"><strong>&#8211; Use standard fonts.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even\n though bright colors and crazy fonts look cool, it\u2019s not formal for a \nprofessor.
