Pre-Crit: For my final essay I think I am going to discuss the effects of the internet on young girls in terms of self image and esteem. I would like to analyze youth psych trends and how the use of the internet interacts with it. There are many young women in the word that immerse themselves in the ideal life including body types and false expectations. These type of habits form a lens on how one views the world. I want to analyze how the internet has heightened these trends and how it has changed global perspective.

Post-Crit: After receiving feedback from my peers, I have narrowed down my concept to the the affects of the internet of teen eating disorders and body image. I plan to interview a few of my friends whom have an eating disorder and look into the psychology of this unfortunate truth!
