{"id":87,"date":"2014-07-21T00:06:18","date_gmt":"2014-07-21T00:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/activestudentorg\/?page_id=87"},"modified":"2017-10-30T20:13:50","modified_gmt":"2017-10-30T20:13:50","slug":"marketing-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/activestudentorg\/officer-bios-2\/marketing-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"Advisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #8a2be2;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/activestudentorg\/files\/2014\/07\/Bridgette-cap-pic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-410 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/activestudentorg\/files\/2014\/07\/Bridgette-cap-pic-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Bridgette-cap pic\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #8a2be2;\">Bridgette Hermanson<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>Contact Info: hermansoba22@uww.edu, 132 WC<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bridgette a Lecturer in the Health, Human Performance, and Recreation major.\u00a0 She is new to the program, joining the UW-Whitewater team in the fall of 2017.\u00a0 Prior to joining the staff at UW-Whitewater she was employed as the Executive Director for the Cambridge Community Activities Program (CAP), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, in Cambridge, Wisconsin.\u00a0 The CAP is a recreation department, based in the Cambridge School District.\u00a0 Bridgette was employed as the Executive Director, since its creation in September 2003.\u00a0 In her 14 years she led the organization and was instrumental in the growth of program to include the Cambridge Community Pool, Cambridge Youth Center, CAP CARE (a state licensed before and after school program), and the Cambridge Food Pantry and Resource Center.\u00a0 Under her direction, the CAP\u00a0 also took on management of a privately owned 18-acre beach front park, Ripley Park.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to being hired as the CAP Director, Bridgette completed her degree at UW-Stevens Point, majoring in Health Promotion and Wellness. During her time at Stevens Point, she worked as a personal trainer, aerobics instructor, and peer health advisor on campus. After graduation, she interned for Marian College and the Fond du Lac County Health Department creating and implementing health and recreational programs.
