Happy Thanksgiving Break everyone,

In our formal meeting we all have a Linked tutorial lesson. Tyler went through step by step by creating a new LinkedIn account. Step by step he talk about different ways people use LinkedIn as a networking social site, and how its important to keep contact with people you network with. The reason for that is because if you are looking for a internship you will know who to talk to about an internship which is a step further of building a relationship with that person. By having a LinkedIn account, its shows a way for all of us to keep contact with, and also network with different people that want to take an opportunity to speak at our organization.

In our formal meeting, we all discussed about everyone schedule to gather around to bake the goods, and selling them at the UC. After, we have a very short meeting which we discussed more about the Linked tutorial lesson that me and Tyler will teach to the new members, and talk about speakers we want to share their experiences to the organization. One thing we have in mind was to have Tyler dad, our first speaker of the semester to come back and share more experiences he learn within his career or work experience.

Our next meeting we will not have a meeting due to Thanksgiving break.

In our formal meeting we continue to discussed about the bake sale. We all have roles on who bake what, and set up a time and place to meet up so we can bake the goods for the bake sale. We all decided to bake chocolate chip cookies, brownies, puppy chows, and rice krispie treats to sale them, and each one is a $1 each. The location we want to bake these goods is in the kitchen at starin hall at our regular meeting time 5:30-6:00. The date will take place at Thursday November 15th. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other, and have fun baking yummy treats.

In our next formal meeting, we will discussed about resume building lessons, and the linked tutorial lesson that will be helpful for our new members.

In our second formal meeting, we all discussed about more volunteer opportunities we want to do for our organization. We also discussed about the test that new members have to take, which is a step further to join Zeta Phi Eta. We also discussed about the internship information meeting that is for arts and communication majors/minors. This meeting was very informational just to let students know what opportunities are out there.
