Dean Betty Jo Licata from Youngstown State University is our AACSB International review team chair. She visited the college on Monday, January 7, to get to know us and review our data on topics such as our assessment processes, our strategic planning goals, and our faculty standards.

Only 5% of business schools worldwide hold AACSB accreditation, and the College of Business and Economics at UW-Whitewater has held this accreditation since the 1970s. Every five years, a team of three deans visits the campus to review the college on numerous standards and makes suggestions for improvements as well as identifying our strengths. Our full team visit will be in February 2014. Dean Licata’s visit involved consulting with us on information we may want to provide or data we need to collect before next year’s visit.
