Name of Event: Chili Cook Off
Event Date & Time: Saturday December 1st from 12-4
Event Location: Starin Park Community Building
Registration Deadline & Location: If you would like to make Chili, contact pse@uww.edu by Friday, November 30th. Also, in order to compete there is a down payment of $10, but is refunded upon arrival to the event!
Event Cost for Participants: $5 (all you can eat) at the door or $4 (still all you can eat) if you bring a non-perishable food item (all perishable foods go to the Whitewater food pantry).
Is the event open to everyone: Yes, everyone is welcome!
Please explain the event:
The chili cook off consists of individuals, groups, and organizations from the UW-Whitewater campus, as well as individuals or groups from the community of Whitewater who make their own pot of chili, and compete for the best tasting chili. The judges of this competition will be the customers who buy a bowl, taste test, and then vote on whose is the best. The winner will receive a $150 cash prize!
Is there any special reason your event is being put on?
50% of the profits earned and all of the food donations will be given to the Whitewater food pantry….. It’s also cold and people could use a bunch of chili to warm up!

Other info:
At the 1st annual Chili Cook off (last year) PSE donated $150 dollars and 60 food items – They are hoping for an even better turn out this year!
There will be music, games, and raffles for entertainment.
