The Mu Kappa Tau UW-Whitewater Chapter received the 2012 Commitment to Marketing
Scholarship Platinum Level Award, which is the highest level of achievement for five years of continuous membership as well as their commitment to the principles, academic achievement and dedication to the marketing profession. Eric Huml, President of Mu Kappa Tau, commented on this award, “This is a great achievement for our chapter, we as UW-Whitewater Mu Kappa Tau members are all very proud.”
“Mu Kappa Tau is the only Marketing Honor Society to offer both national recognition and
chapter affiliation to its members. It’s purpose is to recognize academic excellence and to encourage individuals seeking a lifelong commitment to an exceptional standard of ethics and achievement within the marketing discipline.” as stated on their website.
This award was received as Mu Kappa Tau was planning their event for Business Week, which is being held in Hyland Hall 2308 on November 6th between 6:30-7:30pm. The event is titled, “MBA panel discussion: Is grad school the right move for me?” We encourage all students who are considering graduate school to attend. It will be an opportunity to better understand the graduate school experience and the benefits of theĀ program. This event also reflects Mu Kappa Tau’s interest in scholarly activity.
