Ranei Johnson has accepted a new position with Impact Seven, Inc., a non-profit Community Development Organization. Ranei’s last day at UW-W will be Friday, August 15. Please join us in thanking Ranei for her contributions to UWW and iCIT, and wish her well in her next endeavors.

Open Position for Information Security Officer

iCIT is now recruiting for the role of Information Security Officer/Coordinator. This position is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of a cogent and comprehensive Information Security and Assurance Program that incorporates: Security Policy and Compliance, campus-wide information security strategy, Security Awareness, Security Risk Assessment and Mitigation, Security Incident Response, and Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning.

In the area of IT Policy Development the responsibilities include establishing a framework for IT policy development, as well as the actual development of IT policies to assure compliance with external mandates such as federal and state laws and regulations, and to support the operational needs of the university.

The position is open for transfer until 4:30 P.M. ON AUGUST 12, 2008. If the position remains unfilled after the transfer period, it will remain open until filled.

Richard Durrant joins iCIT as Network Cabling/AV Technician

iCIT welcomes Richard Durrant as a Network Cabling / AV Technician starting this Thursday (8/7). He will be doing installation of network and A/V cabling, installation, repair and maintenance of A/V equipment and coordination with FP&M and other contractors on major jobs involving cabling and A/V systems.

Richard has a rich background in low voltage cable systems and large scale installations. He comes to iCIT from Oakley Sub-Assembly in Belvedere, IL where his duties included industrial electronics and computer support. Richard will be located in Room 1216A. Open Position for Windows Systems Engineer

iCIT is now recruiting for a Windows Systems Engineer. The position’s primary responsibilities include design, installation, support and troubleshooting related to Microsoft Windows server-based services. The person in this position is expected to perform advanced IS duties relating to campus Windows server-based services with minimal direction and supervision.. Thhis position works under general supervision and direction from the Platform Lead.

Julie Zaukas joins iCIT as Financial Specialist 4

iCIT welcomes Julie Zaukas as our new Financial Specialist. She will be providing business management support for the iCIT division.  Julie’s primary responsibilities will include enabling administrative support functions, budget development, iCIT Human Resources processes and internal contract management.

Julie is coming from Community Action, Inc. where she served in growing capacities for the past 16 years.  She joins us today, Monday, July 21 and her office will be in Andersen 2007.
