Binding
1. Open cover and lift handle.
2. Use purple dial to set the end stop. The dark markings indicate where holes will be punched. Practice with a test piece of paper first!
3. Insert paper and firmly set against purple end stop. Press lever down to punch. The machine cannot handle more than 1 piece of cardstock at a time or 10 pieces of standard weight paper.
4. Use the metal prongs to insert and open the comb bind
5. Place the punched pages into the comb.
6. Release comb and close machine when finished
Grommet Setter
1. Prepare the grommet setter and two grommet pieces (one is flat and the other has a ridge.)
2. Place the piece with a ridge on the upper level of the setter, with the ridge pointing down.
3. Place the flat piece in the bottom level of the setter, with the rounded side touching the machine.
4. Measure and mark where the grommet will be placed. Grommets should be placed a minimum of 1” in on all sides. Take care; you only get only chance to get it right!
5. Holding the paper (or other medium being grommeted) in place, press the handle down firmly. Lean on the handle to ensure there is enough weight and power to fully compress and place the grommet. Remember, you only get one chance to get it right!
6. To finish, remove the small circle in the hole of the grommet.
