Student Sustainability Fund (SSF)

The Sustainability  Council and Whitewater Student Government collaborate to help individual students and student organizations fund projects that make our campus more sustainable.  Awards range from $20 to more than $5,000 and can be used to fund transportation projects, campus gardening, waste minimization, event support, or other student-proposed projects.

Projects Awaiting a Student Sponsor:

Air compressor for car and bike tires (increases fuel economy for people commuting to campus by car and increases speed and comfort for those commuting by bike).


The Student Sustainability Fund Review Committee meets to review applications for sustainability funds and to help students through application process.  The review committee can approve Tier I grants.  Tier II, Tier III, and Feasibility Studies must be approved by the full Sustainability Council.
