Here is a site where you can watch some videos about cyborg (robot) possibilities. How far should humans go with this?Cyborg videos

The idea of cyborgs or robots is most often taken the wrong way when it is presented to an audience. This video made it apparent that the study and advancment of cyborgs could universally expand the medical feild. I think that nuro scientists should continue their research to furthur the benifits of cyborg chips. The cyborg chips have helped the blind to see and people unable to move to be able to accomplish tasks through their thoughts. The possibilities could be endless, the medical field could be totally transformed from further research on cyborgs.
On the other hand the use of cyborgs shouldnt be overlooked. What this means, is as a society, cyborgs need to be controlled to improving medicine and nothing more. Cyborgs should not be used to create a new and improved human race, nor should any scientist even think about it. Creating cyborg humans is wrong, many people have negative opinions about it. This is the reason why the using of cyborgs for anything is thought to be wrong by the majority of the public. If used the right way cyborgs could be the next best thing in medical science.
Cyborgs and robots can be a helpful part of society today. Already in the medical profession we are starting to develop machines that can do surgeries almost with a touch of a button. If we as humans can get off that easy for a medical procedure that could deal with the life or death of another human being, who says that there wont be a robot who can drive us to work so we can get in a few extra minutes of sleep or catch up on some reading, etc.
Although cyborgs and robots seem to be a good idea to improve technology, I think that people need to be cautious about getting too technical and taking advantage of how things can be done for us.
We all should be able to keep doing what we are doing in life in the sense of normal day to day activities, but having a machine make more precise cuts for a surgery to keep harm from a life being taken away might not be a bod idea for the future, when it is tested thoroughly, of course.
I found this video on cyborgs and robots, or androids, to be extremely powerful with its message. While I was watching the video it reminded me of the cyborg from the movie ‘Terminator’ where the cyborg, once human, destroyed the city and killed a countless number of people. The technical advancement our world has had over the last century is incredible. From going from paved streets, to skyscrapers, to thousands of medication, cell phones, vehicles, laser eye surgery etc. It is just so remarkable what you can do or have done in our world today. I think that cyborgs and robots are very useful in certain ways with our medical field because it prevents deaths, increases one’s health, and helps create new and more efficient items. But the question is, “By using these cyborgs and robots, is this offending “God’s Plan” and the roles of civilization?” Using these robots now, and in the forms they are used in, might be acceptable as of now. But what if one evil minded scientist creates an inhuman (cyborg) person to partially destroy humankind? The brilliant minds that our world has behind these technological creations could make a drastic error that would come to haunt our human race. I think that it would be important for organizations to forcefully limit these cyborgs and robots from expanding into something so powerful that we as humans might not be able to stop if things get way out of control.
I found these videos to be very interesting. I went so far as to watch several of the related videos and learned some interesting things about how advanced our research in AI and robotics currently are. One video that caught my eye was the robot soccer video. At first I thought this was just a toned down version of Battlebots, but then I noticed that the robots were not being controlled and in fact were basing their actions solely on AI functions. The AI I saw was fairly simple compared to the AI in some of the video games I have played, but to see it being used in actual real life robots was fascinating.
Oh and that reminds me, I wanted to put this in the previous post but oh well. one site that I found having an amazingly advanced AI is a program called Cleverbot, which won the Loebner prize (an award for the most human-like AI)
If you want to talk to it, here’s the link
