This model is not a comprehensive guide to programming but highlights the bare essentials.  You may be asked to perform other programs by the department, CD/ACDs, or by others. Live, Learn, Engage is the major theme relating to the mission of residence life.  We need to ensure we are working with our students to meet that motto’s promise.  To help achieve that goal, this model has been created to encompass all expectations from the department regarding programming and interacting with your residents with relation to building a positive community. Portions of this program have been pulled from the wellness wheel, our departmental mission, our university commitment to the LEAP program, and our committee philosophy of working smarter, not harder.  Please note this is a needs based programming model and the needs of the community are represented in the requests of this model- please keep that in mind when designing the programs for your complex.
