So as a college student, I know the struggles that we can face when trying to buy, well…anything. We’re all on tight budgets with those student loans looming over us in the future. But, it’s important to remember that you CAN have nice things to decorate your space without breaking the bank. You just have to know where to find the best deals!
The top 5 stores that I chose to shop for accessories around my house are…
1. Hobby Lobby- They have GREAT small accessories, or even big paintings or wall decor for relatively cheap. They always have deals on various things within their store, especially the smaller items such as picture frames or things like cake plates (my personal favorites)
2. Goodwill- Goodwill is a great place to find cheap things that can really brighten up or solidify a room. You may have to pick through some things, but it’s always worth the visit!
3. Amazon- Amazon is a great and convenient place to find almost anything that you need! The prices are usually really good, and buy things used is always a way to try and find a cheaper price!
4. TJ Maxx- TJ Maxx is a place that most people think of when they want cheap fashion, and they aren’t wrong there, but sometimes people forget that they have great deals on decor as well! It’s easy to find great decor for less!
5. Yard Sales- Something that virtually never disappoints me are yard sales! “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” becomes more and more evident to me with every yard sale that I go to. You can also always try and bargain for even better prices or combined deals!
