Quality Matters Training Workshop held on Dec 12

The LTDC sponsored a group workshop on “Applying the QM Rubric” at UW-Oshkosh on Friday, Dec 12. This workshop was led by  Quality Matters certified trainer Cassie Carter. 35 faculty and instructional design and learning technology support staff from all campuses attended.

Quality Matters is a nationally recognized organization that promotes quality design of online and blended courses with a peer-review process. Curently, 6 UW campuses have joined to form a UW consortium with Quality Matters. They are UW-Madison, UW-Green Bay, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Superior, and UW-Colleges Online. This workshop serves as a first step to develop expertise in applying the QM methodology in building awareness and encouraging a more thoughtful approach to online course design among UW campuses.
