Executive Committee Update
The executive committee is reexamining strategic directions for LTDC. It is looking at the strengths and weaknesses of the group. The committee will send the information out to everyone before the fall conference for feedback and then present a final version at the conference.

There is a second grant program in the beginning stages. It is definitely not in final form and has many details yet to be determined. It will also will be distributed at the fall conference. It addresses some of the CR grant limitations and will fund about 10 grants of $5,000 each, as written in the current draft. Below are some of the initial criteria.

- Each proposal will be initiated and led by an LTDC rep
- It can be submitted anytime during the year for immediate review
- Most likely by a single campus, though can collaborate
- Must disseminate to other campuses and provide consultation.
- Proposals will be about a page in length, decision for funding will be in no more than a week, run a semester, followed by reports and sharing

- What will be funded (hardware ?) – still a question,
- Will all be spelled out by fall
