Advantage Wisconsin: Growing the Research Infrastructure

Being a part of the University of Wisconsin has its advantages, such as faculty and students having access to the print collections of the other campus libraries. Yet, our world has changed to one that relies heavily on the Internet and other digital means for the dissemination of information. Having the electronic resources necessary for faculty and students to conduct research is essential to the success of the UW System and the state of Wisconsin.

The UW System Libraries have prepared a video in support of their request for additional funding to expand the electronic collections and research capabilities of the UW System. Our very own Chancellor Telfer appears in the video, offering his support for the proposed funding increase. Please take a minute to watch the video.

About kyle

I'm the library guy. No, seriously, I'm the only male reference & instruction librarian. I also have the pleasure of serving several campus committees, the Academic Staff Assembly and the Chancellor's Task Force on LGBT Issues, among others.
