The 2019-2020 Milwaukee Bucks are off to a blazing 46-8 record going into All-Star Weekend with the team being led by four time all star Giannis Antetokounmpo and two time all star Khris Middleton at the helm. Newly acquired power forward Marvin Williams plays his first game in a Bucks jersey. Despite the loss, the veteran Williams put up 9 points, one being a triple, as well as grabbing four rebounds. It’ll be interesting to see how the team gels with time over the all star break. Speaking of all star break, along with Giannis and Khris, Pat Connaughton will be getting in on the fun. The 6’4” guard out of Notre Dame will be participating in the Slam Dunk Contest along with Aaron Gordon, Dwight Howard, and Derrick Jones Jr. in Chicago this weekend. This will surely be an exhilarating  contest and we’ll be able to see how high PlanetPat can truly leap. At the end of the weekend, Giannis and Khris will take part in the All Star Game against Team LeBron. Furthermore, Team Giannis’ players will all be wearing 24 as well as Team LeBron’s players will be wearing 2 as a tribute to Kobe and Gigi Bryant. The NBA will also be donating significantly to charities of the players choosing. Finally, the Buck’s schedule looks to toughen up after All Star Weekend, and after combing through the schedule I’m making the prediction the Bucks will finish the season with a record of 66-16 as bench players may see more playing time to give the starters rest minutes for playoff time.

P.S. Congratulations to Giannis and Mariah on the birth of their son Liam.

  1. Great blog. It felt as if I was hearing a live broadcast by Steve Novak and Jim Paschke. I believe that Marvin Williams and the team will find that chemistry together quicker than expected. As far as Pat Connaughton and the slam dunk contest, I believe he could actually win this thing. In all honesty, as long as the bucks are represented well this All Star weekend I will be happy with that.

    Go Bucks!!!
